Luca Dell Oro Environmental Engineer Teaching area: GIS Information |
Luca Dell'Oro is Environmental Engineer graduated from The University of Bologna (Msc, 2002), he also obtained in 2004 a Professional Master Degree in Geo-Information Sciences and Earth Observation with specialization in Natural Hazard Studies (ITC, The Netherlands).
As Environmental Engineer and GIS/RS expert he gained International Experience working at the Spatial Science Innovation Unit (SSIU) of the University of Sydney, Australia. From 2005, he is working as Research Associate for UNOSAT (UNITAR Operational Satellite Applications Programme).
At UNOSAT, Mr. Dell'Oro is primary involved in training & capacity development related activities and GIS/RS data analysis and mapping for disaster prevention, emergency response and territorial planning."
He lectures on GIS Information in the MDMa Core Course 3 Disaster Response.
