Lasse Nørgaard

Communication Consultant

Lasse Nørgaard has lived and worked in Africa, Asia and Europe since graduating as a journalist in 1986, covering crisis and major events. Lasse has worked alternately for major Danish media-companies (newspaper and radio) and for the IFRC, International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.

As a communication delegate for IFRC Lasse has worked in Rwandas neighbouring countries during and after the genocide, covered earthquakes, cyclones and floods in Asia and flooding and internal conflicts in Europe.

As recent IFRC Communications Manager for all of Europe and Central Asia, Lasse was editing and partly writing the "Think Differently - humanitarian impacts of the economic crisis"-report.

Lasse now works as an independent communication consultant, providing media training, capacity building and facilitation. 

Lasse teaches crisis- and campaign communication at UC Metropol as well as Danish for foreigners at Berlitz language school.
